Curriculum
Our curriculum is an emergent curriculum. Learning projects emerge out of the interests of the children in a specific classroom, and all areas of development are explored through the topic of interest. Our philosophy is that a child will learn best when he/she is developmentally ready to learn. It is our goal to recognize the level of each individual child; we organize our program in a way that allows for individual progression. Each classroom has separate centers for related activities. In addition, we offer extra-curricular activities that are included in tuition costs. All classes except infants have music class twice per week; at age two, a weekly chapel experience and 2 Spanish classes are added. These classes are taught by dedicated teachers with expertise in their respective fields.
